John Dollinger raised on the button and Michael Mizrachi three-bet out of the big blind. In the blink of an eye, the rest of Dollinger’s chips get into the middle and he is all in for about 500,000 and got action from Mizrachi.

Dollinger showed QsQc and was flipping against Mizrachi’s AsKh. The flop was JsJh6s and Dollinger kept the lead.

“No spade,” said Dollinger.

The turn was the 9s and Mizrachi picked up the nut flush draw. The river was the 4s and Mizrachi rivered the flush to eliminate Dollinger in fourth place.

“I just didn’t want to see a spade,” said Dollinger. “I wouldn’t have cared if it was a king.”

Mizrachi continued his assualt on the final table and Dollinger took home $11,638 for his run.

Jay Romano bet 75,000 out of the big blind on a flop of AsKhQh and Michael Mizrachi calls from under-the-gun. The turn was the 2h and Romano checked.

Mizrachi bet 150,000 and Romano quickly called. The river was the Td and Romano checked again.

“How much you got left?” asked Mizrachi.

“About 800 [thousand]” responded Romano.

He then pushes forward his stack and Mizrachi gets a better look at Romano’s remaining 500,000.

“So that’s what 800,000 looks like?” joked Steve Karp.

Mizrachi moved all in and Romano went into the tank.

“There’s no way you have a jack,” said Romano. “If it wasn’t for that last card, I was going to do something.”

“What’s fourth place pay?” asked Mizrachi.

“Now I know you have a jack,” said Romano.

Romano spends another minute in the tank and then John Dollinger calls the clock. Romano lets the clock run down to just a few seconds before folding his hand.

Mizrachi drags the pot and shows Ts8s as he crosses the 2 million chip mark.

“I saw his hand and I thought he had it,” said one of Mizrachi’s supporters on the rail. “He looked so confident I thought he had it. I was rooting for the guy to call.”

The board ran out 9c4h3cKc8h and Dollinger’s pair holds up to eliminate Ribak in fifth place. Ribak earned $8,736 for fifth place and Dollinger chipped up.

“Not even a sweat,” said Dollinger’s supporter. “You know you’re supposed to buy me drinks if I come sweat your final table.”

There was a brief discussion about the etiquette of buying supporters drinks while Dollinger stacked his chips and did not buy his supporter an alcoholic beverage.

It was a battle of the blinds on a flop of QsTd5s with Jay Romano in the small blind and Joe Ebanks in the big blind.

They got 80,000 into the middle and the turn was the 7s. Romano checked and Ebanks bet 85,000. Romano called and the river was the Qd.

Romano moved all in for 218,000 and Ebanks got an exact count as he went into the tank.

“At least you didn’t snap call me,” said Ebanks. “That’s good.”

Ebanks spent a minute in the tank before announcing a call.
