Event 24: Ben Keeline Eliminated By Ronnie Bardah

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 6: 200/400 with a 50 ante
Players: 556

Ronnie Bardah just scored another elimination, this time World Series of Poker Colossus II champ Ben Keeline.

We missed the preflop action, but we do know Keeline got his last 2,625 in the middle flipping against Bardah.

Bardah: JhJc
Keeline: AhQd

Keeline needed to improve to stay alive, but that proved easier said than done as the board ran out 3cKd10s4h4d.

“Good luck on the next bullet,” Bardah offered as Keeline exited the tournament floor. It remains to be seen if Keeline will re-enter the tournament.

Ronnie Bardah – 61,000
Ben Keeline – 2,625

Event 24: Ronnie Bardah Sends One to the Rail

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 5: 150/300 with a 50 ante
Players: 537

In the last hand of Level 5, an early-position player raised to 800 and Shannon Shorr called from the cutoff. Ronnie Bardah then three-bet to 3,400 from the button, both blinds folded, and the original raiser called.

Shorr got out of the way and it was heads-up action to the Qs2c6d flop. The original raiser check-called a bet of 3,200 and then checked the 4h turn. Bardah bet 5,100 and then called his opponent’s all-in check-raise to roughly 17,500 total.

Bardah: AsAd
Opponent: AhQh

Bardah was looking to dodge a queen on the river, which is just what he did when the 6c peeled off.

Ronnie Bardah – 60,000
Shannon Shorr – 11,200

Event 24: Blair Hinkle Eliminated By Kane Lai

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 100/200 with a 25 ante
Players: 459

Blair Hinkle

In one of the last hands before the break, Nicholas Palma raised to 500 and received a call from the player in the cutoff. Blair Hinkle then three-bet all in for 5,800 from the button and Kane Lai flatted from the small blind.

Both Palma and the limped folded, which prompted the two players to table their cards.

Hinkle: AsQs
Lai: KsKc

Hinkle needed some help, but he came up empty as the board ran out a dry 5c5s4c6dQh. Hinkle will no doubt re-enter this event.

Kane Lai – 24,000
Blair Hinkle – Eliminated

Event 24: The Great Charlemagne Claims to Bluff

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 100/200 with a 25 ante
Players: 459

Charlemagne Benjamin

Kathy Liebert, who currently sits second on the Women’s All-Time Money List behind Vanessa Selbst, raised the button to 500 and Charlemagne Benjamin defended his big blind.

“I’m bluffing it,” Benjamin said, playing it up to us. He then bet 500 on the 5c8s3d flop. It wasn’t enough to shake Liebert though, who called to see the 3s.

Not to be deterred, Benjamin bet 1,500 and this time it did the trick as Liebert released.

Charlemagne Benjamin – 17,500
Kathy Liebert – 16,000

Event 24: Kane Lai Gives It Up

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 100/200 with a 25 ante
Players: 446

Action folded to MSPT and HPT champ Kane Lai on the button and he raised to 500. The player in the small blind popped it to 1,500, the big blind folded, and Lai called to see a 3c4hAd flop, which both players checked.

When the 3d appeared on the turn, the small blind bet 3,500 and Lai called to see the 6s river. The small blind opted to jam for roughly 14,000, and that was enough to inspire Lai to fold.

Kane Lai – 18,000

Event 24: One for Mike Shin

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 100/200 with a 25 ante
Players: 446

Mike Shin, who finished 12th in the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event last month, opened for 500 from early position and Jackson White called from the button. The player in the small blind came along, and three players took a flop of Ah2sJs.

The small blind checked, Shin continued for 1,000, and both White and the other player released.

Mike Shin – 16,000
Jackson White – 13,300

Event 24: Stan Jablonski Heads Back to Registration

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 3: 75/150 with a 25 ante
Players: 300

We missed the action unfold, but we do know that Stan Jablonski got his chips in on the turn with a board reading 2cKsKh. Unfortunately for him, he was way behind Javier Ramirez.

Ramirez: KdQh
Jablonski: 10h10c

“How about a ten?” Jablonski asked the dealer, who did not oblige by delivering the 2s on the river. With that, Jablonski made his way to the registration desk to re-enter.

Stan Jablonski – Eliminated (but planning to re-enter)
