As expected, Alex Oliveira was the “bubble boy” after his final hand was killed with his last 1K ante chip in the middle. There was a tiny sweat as another table had an all-in but it wasn’t called.

Event 5 players are on their first break of the day just as they reached the money bubble. There are 109 players remaining with 108 getting paid and Alex Oliveira nowhere to be found.
He was set to return to a 63,500 stack but never showed up. Oliveira’s stack is down to a single 1K ante chip when they return to play hand-for-hand.

While a lot of people are hitting the rail, WSOP Circuit winner Zo Karim is moving in the other direction. He began his day with 176,000 but has moved over 300,000 as the money bubble gets closer with each elimination.

There has been a mass exodus out of the tournament at the start of play. Less than 45 minutes into the restart, more than 40 players have been shown the door including former top ten player Asher Conniff.
It was a quick exit and when asked what happened, Conniff responded simply with “That’s poker.” His chips were equally distributed among his tablemates with Shaundra Seay getting the last of them.

Players are taking their seats in the ballroom for the restart of Event 5 with 186 remaining with a chance at the title.
Ricardo Eyzaguirre bagged an early lead and held it to return as the chip leader. WPT World Champion Asher Conniff sits in the top ten as well as SHRP regular Gregg Fund.
They restart in Level 15 with blinds at 1,500/3,000 and a 500 ante. The average is 99,000 (33 big blinds) and we should move along at a brisk pace, the money bubble will be close when they hit the first break around 2:30.

The scheduled 14 levels of play are in the books for the sixth and final flight of the $150 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry. When late registration closed, there was 425 players in the final starting flight of the tournament.
But by the end of the day, there were only 47 remaining and it was Bruce Snell who bagged the biggest stack, finishing the day with 292,500 in chips.
The 425 entrants brings the entire field size to 1,841 entrants, which smashed the $150,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The survivors of Day 1F will combine with the survivors of the first five flights on Wednesday afternoon for Day 2. Cards get in the air at 1 p.m. and they are scheduled to play down to a winner.
