The big Purple Chip Bounty tournament drew an even 150 entries and exactly ten percent of the field survived the full 16 levels on Day 1. They made the money late on the first day with 18 getting paid before they paused for an overnight break with 15 players remaining.

There was just a short break in the action of the $1,650 No-Limit Hold’em purple chip bounty as they re-drew for seats at the final two tables.

With 18 players left, they are all in the money and guaranteed a cash of at least $2,033.

Joey Weissman holds the chip lead with the final table approaching. He sits with 210,000. Seminole Hard Rock Poker Team Member Stewart Newman is still alive, as well as Jack Duong, and Erik Christensen.

There is about 35 minutes remaining in level 15 and they are scheduled to bag and tag chips at the end of level 16.
