The big Purple Chip Bounty tournament drew an even 150 entries and exactly ten percent of the field survived the full 16 levels on Day 1. They made the money late on the first day with 18 getting paid before they paused for an overnight break with 15 players remaining.

WSOP bracelet winner Joey Weissman holds a huge lead at the restart while SHRP regular Richard Rice is the shortest of the 15 remaining players and Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Stewart Newman is in the middle of the pack.

Cards go back in the air at 2pm and we’ll continue to follow the action.
