The Seniors Event is filling up quickly with plenty of players hopping in the morning game. The 64 entries put the field more than halfway to hitting the 124 from this event last year and it’s shaping up to be a great group of players.
Jeff Kessler knows what it takes to win this event. The jovial grinder won the RRPO Seniors Event title back in 2013 when it was held in The Poker Room. That time Kessler only had to dodge 46 others so he’ll have to put some work in today to take home another trophy.
While the Ultimate Re-Entry kicked off in the ballroom, the popular Seniors Event started in the meeting room across the hall. The tournament is open to anyone 50 years or older and one of them will earn the second trophy of the series later this evening.
They will start with 10,000 out front and play 30-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30pm and a dinner break is scheduled at 5:30pm. Once they return, action will continue until we crown our Seniors Event champion.
Players begin with 10,000 in chips and 30-minute levels
Late registration/re-entry available until start of Level 9
This is a one-day tournament and plays until completion
