The $1,125 pricepoint attracts pros from Florida and beyond. With that, comes a tough field that will really make the eventual champion have to work for it. A quick walk through the tournament floor finds Table 62 occupied by two of the Circuit’s most decorated players side-by-side — Phil Hui and Kurt Jewell.

Hui is a four-time ring winner and bracelet holder with nearly $940,000 in WSOP-related earnings. Jewell, meanwhile, edges out Hui in rings, owning five. Though he doesn’t claim the bracelet Hui does, Jewell’s WSOP resume is quite stout as well with $688,000 in reported earnings.
