Aldemir won the race, with the board coming Tc6c6hTd5c to double him up.

Koray Aldemir (big blind) and Adrian Mateos (under the gun) were involved in a heads-up pot on the river of a KcQc2c2d4h board. There was about 14,000 in the pot, and Mateos had 18,500 chips out in front of him in position. Aldemir had moved all in for 43,300, though, and Mateos was soaking in thought.

Eventually, the Spaniard called to see a showdown.

Aldemir showed 4c4d, having rivered fours full of deuces. It was good; Mateos’ KsQd was exposed as he paid off his debt.

Koray Aldemir – 101,000 (84 bb)
Adrian Mateos – 80,000 (67 bb)

Justin Bonomo

With the board reading Qc7c5dQh9c, Justin Bonomo moved all in for 48,800 and Stefan Schillhabel sat back to think it through. After a minute, Schillhabel tossed in a call and Bonomo flipped over king-high KcJs.

Schillhabel showed trip queens QdTc and Bonomo was sent out.

Stefan Schillhabel – 182,000 (182 bb)

Stefan Schillhabel

Stefan Schillhabel is moving his stack north while Ben Tollerene has been on the decline since he doubled up on the first hand of the tournament.

The latest dip saw Tollerene lead out for 3,500 from the small blind with the board reading Js8h4s2cAs. Schillhabel took his time, then the WPT Bay 101 champ called to see Tollerne flip up KsJh. Shillhabel turned over Ac3s and he was good.

Not a huge pot but it continued the trend in their stacks.

Stefan Schillhabel – 145,000 (145 bb)
Ben Tollerene – 67,000 (67 bb)

Alan Schein

Alan Schein’s game plan seems to be “play a lot of hands” and build up his stack. His first shot ended on the first hand but he’s leading since his return. We see Schein in a lot of pots to the flop and his stack has gone up and down.

The most recent saw him in a three-way pot with Stephen Chidwick and Adrian Mateos. Schein bet 8,000 on the 9c8h4dQd board to get a fold from Chidwick and call from Mateos.

Schein bet another 15,000 after the 8c river and Mateos took a minute to throw in a call. Schein tabled Ac8s for rivered trip eights and Mateos mucked.

Schein took the hand but he’s still down overall since the last break while Mateos is up more than 30,000 despite this hit.

Alan Schein – 165,000 (165 bb)
Andrian Mateos – 122,000 (122 bb)

David Peters

The entry count jumped two spots in recent minutes with David Peters taking and seat and Rainer Kempe putting another entry into the game.

We mentioned 2017 GPI Player of the Year Adrian Mateos earlier and Peters earned those honors in 2016. He won four High Roller events that year plus he picked up his first career WSOP bracelet that summer.

The Super High Roller is back underway after a little break to pull the quarter chips out of play, swap in some comfy chairs, and switched seats for Stephen Chidwick to balance the tables.

Alan Schein leads thanks to his big hand against Rainer Kempe with Justin Bonomo the “shortest” stack with 61 bigs. Kempe already popped his head into the room to say he was going to buy back in.
