Devond Marshall

Event 1 had one of the biggest fields in Florida poker history and five days were not enough to see it through. Of the 4,558 entries over eight starting flights, 676 players returned for Day 2 on Sunday and 16 of them were still around at 3am.

They bagged up their chips and will return at 2pm to play down to the Event 1 champion.

Devond Marshall leads them all but Kharlin Sued is not far behind. Cory Blum was among the leaders for most of the tournament but will return as one of the short stacks.

There will be a lot of early action when some players trying to rebuild their stacks for a final table run. Everyone making it that far will lock up at least $10,563 but everyone is looking at the top prize of $218,794.

Cards go back in the air at the top of the hour and we will have all the action until we crown our Event 1 champion.

Peter Udovik

Peter Udovik moved all in from the hijack for about 3,300,000 and Peter Fellow calls for about 2,200,000 from the cutoff.

It’s a flip with Udovik’s 2s2d up against Fellows’ AsKs.

The board ran out 7d3h3cJcQc and Udovik won the flip to eliminate Fellows in 21st place for $4,786.

“Isn’t it crazy that you were just all in and struggling and now you’ve got like six million?” asked Carlos Loving.

Udovik nodded in agreement and now has just over 30 big blinds.

Lorell Pascual

Richard Saunders raised to 425,000 from under the gun and Lorell Pascual called from middle position. Lukas Pribyl moved all in out of the big blind for 1,050,000 and Saunders moved all in as well, barely covering Pascual.

Pascual went deep into the tank for a couple of minutes.

“I was in the situation before and he had queens,” said Pascual while mulling over his decision.

Pascual eventually pushed forward a call and was all in for 2,950,000.

He showed TsTc, Saunders tabled AdQc and Pribyl needed help with his Kd9d.

The board ran out 9s8h3h5d5c and Pribyl was eliminated in 25th place for $4,786. Saunders is left with a big blind and Pascual shoots up the chip counts, and is easily a top-five stack.
