Peter Eichhardt leads the final table

Six starting flights and a long Day 2 were not enough to crown a champion in our $1 Million Guarantee opening event. The big payouts from the $1.5 million prize pool are still waiting for the last ten players returning today for the final table.

Of those ten players, six have already captured major SHRP titles including chip leader (and WSOP bracelet winner) Peter Eichhardt. Mike Ortiz, Nicholas Mahabee, Josias Santos, Steven Bennett, and former November Niner Jerry Wong also own SHRP trophies and going for another.

All four players are guaranteed to walk away with at least $13,635 but they all want the $260,252 top place prize. Eichhardt has a huge lead going for the big money but it still anyone’s game with the deep stacks remaining.

Cards go back in the air at 2 pm and we will continue with our live updates.

Glenn Fishbein

Glenn Fishbein moved all in for about 1,300,000 from late position and Jack Shea moved all in for about 2,000,000 next to act. Everybody else folded and they were heads-up for Fishbein’s tournament life.

Fishbein tabled 8d7c and needed help against Shea’s AhKc.

The flop was JhTs3c, keeping Shea in the lead, and the Qd on the turn sealed the deal for Shea with Broadway. Fishbein was drawing dead to the 7c river cad and Shea won the pot with the nut straight.

Fishbein hit the rail in 12th place and after one more elimination, the final 10 players will redraw for seats at the unofficial final table. Fishbein will leave the tournament with an extra $13,635 in his pocket.

Jack Shea – 3,650,000
Glenn Fishbein – Eliminated

The board ran out Qs5c2h9h7c and Eichhardt wins the pot with a pair of queens to eliminate Kopacz in 14th place.

Kopacz, a regular in the South Florida poker scene, earned $9,848 for his deep run in the event. Eichhardt is now in contention for the chip lead with Schuyler Thornton.

All three hands were tabled with two players all in. Eicchardt showed QsQd and was in the lead against Fish’s As7c and Majura’s KcQh.

The board ran out clean for Eichhardt as it came Js8h6s6cTs. He won the pot with a pair of queens and eliminated two players in the process. Manjura started the hand with the smaller stack, so he will take the worse of the two finishes.

Manjura was eliminated in 35th and Fish earned a 34th place finish.
