The flop came 8s7h2h, the big blind checked and Mercier bet 2,300.  A player in late position raised to 7,100 and the big blind called.

Mercier moved all in for 28,575 and late position called. The big blind folds saying he had pocket aces with the ace of hearts. Mercier turned over 9h8h and needed to improve against his opponent’s KdKh.

Mercier got lucky right on the turn when the Jh came and avoided the fourth heart when the Qs hit the river.
