James Mackey raised from early positoin and a player in middle position called. The player in the hijack moved all in for about 9,500 and action folded back to Mackey.

He put in enough to make a large raise and the third player in the hand folded. Mackey showed AcJd and was flipping against the hijack’s TdTh.

The flop was Ah9s7c and Mackey flopped top pair to take the lead.

The turn was the 3s and the river was the 2s. Mackey won the pot and eliminated his opponent.

14-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth was joined by his fans last night outside the Poker Room to sign copies of his popular new motivational book, #Positivity. The event drew a great crowd but today he gets down to the business of adding a World Poker Tour title to his record-setting résumé.

Hellmuth took his seat at the start of Level 6 and created a buzz walking into the Event Center.

ESPN affiliate 790 The Ticket broadcasts from the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood poker room every Friday afternoon. With the WPT in town, today’s setup was right outside the Hard Rock Event Center and Tournament Director Tony Burns stopped by to give some information on the $3,000,000 Championship.

On the turn with the board reading As6c5h4h, Dylan Linde checked from the small blind and a player in middle position checked.

Haim Toorgeman bet 1,525 on the button, Linde called and middle position folded.

There was about 5,000 in the pot on the river, which was the 8d. Linde checked and Toorgeman bet 3,600. Linde thought for about a minute before calling.

“I missed,” said Toorgeman, showing KhJh.

Clements was ahead with the flopped set of sixes against pocket aces and Tineo’s second nut flush draw. The Qs turn changed nothing but the 9d river sent the big pot to Tineo, put the big blind out of the tournament, and dropped Clements under starting stack.
