We have a lot of talent walking in the door as the afternoon moves along. Among them, we found WPT Champions Club member Olivier Busquet. The high stakes, heads-up pro is in town for the series and the WPTDeepStacks tournament drew him to the Event Center.

Busquet wasted no time mixing it up. He was in a three-way pot to a flop and bet 2,000. SHRP regular Zoltan Czinkota called and the button player raised to 7,000. Busquet called, Czinkota moved all in for 21,500 and the button called all-in for less.

Busquet thought for a moment and called with enough chips to cover both players.

We welcome the WPTDeepStacks tour back to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood for another great tournament with two starting days.

The $1,100 buy-in event was originally scheduled to run at our sister property in Immokalee but it was canceled due to Hurricane Irma in September. It was moved to Hollywood and we look forward to hosting the popular tournament.

The WPTDeepStacks event has a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool and players will enjoy their 25,000 starting stacks. The tournament will run 40-minute levels with late registration and re-entries available until the start of Level 10 at 7:30 pm. Both flights will run for 15 levels and survivors will return on Wednesday for Day 2.

For the second-consecutive series, the Seminole Hard Rock and the World Poker Tour have partnered to a pair a $3,500 buy-in Main Tour event and a $1,100 WPTDeepStacks event in the same poker festival. While the Main Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship is set to kick off April 13th, players don’t have to wait that long for big poker action. Beginning tomorrow is Flight A of the WPTDeepStacks prelim, a $1,100 buy-in event with a $250,000 guarantee.

The event takes the place of the previously scheduled WPTDeepStacks-Immokalee Main Event and is points eligible in both the WPTDeepStacks and Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year points races.
