There were two other trophy events here on the first day of the Lucky Hearts Poker Open Main Event, and Phil Hui outlasted 33 entries in $570 Limit Omaha 8 to win $6,765.

Hui has a WSOP bracelet in Omaha Hi-Lo, and showed his chops as he overcame a huge chip deficit during heads-up play to come back and win the title and the trophy.

Hui already has more than $1.5 million in career live tournament earnings, and this is third trophy he’s won at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. This is the second final table of the Lucky Hearts Poker Open for Hui, as he finished third in Event 3 ($360 H.O.R.S.E.).

The WPTDeepStacks Main Event kicks off today but we also have two new trophy events on the schedule. Both are Omaha and the first kicks off at 11am in the Event Center.

Event 12 is a $570 Limit Omaha 8 game to continue our big slate of four-card game. Player will start with 15,000 stacks and all levels will last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 3:30 and there will be a dinner break at 5pm. Since this is a one-day tournament, we will award another LHPO trophy later this evening.
