When the final seven players in the $360 Black Chip Bounty event agreed to chop the remaining prizepool on Monday night, it was Alfredo Fernandez who had the lead with more than 27% of all the chips in play to win the title, the trophy, and $5,406.

Fernandez is a local player from Miami, Florida, and even though he has more than $170K in career live tournament earnings (including a 51st-place finish in the 2008 WSOP Main Event), this is his first victory in a trophy event.

The penultimate day of the Lucky Hearts Poker Open brings two big bounty tournaments. The first one is the $360 Big Stack Black Chip Bounty at 11am and the second, $1,650 Purple Chip Bounty, will go later this afternoon.

Event 22 has a $30,000 Guarantee with $100 bounties on each player. They will start with 15,000 big stacks and all levels will last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30pm and there will be a dinner break at 5pm. This is a one-day trophy event and will crown one of our last champions later this evening.
