Structure | Payouts
Level 15: 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante
Players Remaining: 9 of 113

John Bonar raised from middle position to 9,000, Roland Feichtner called from the hijack, and Hany Ayoub reraised from the cutoff to 19,000. Bonar called, and Feichtner reraised to 29,000.

Ayoub five-bet all in, and Bonar called all in for about 50,000. Feichtner thought for a while before he folded, leaving himself with just 20,500 in chips.

Bonar turned over 7s7d, and needed his hand to hold to stay alive against Ayoub’s AsJh.

The board came KsQs9c4c7c — Ayoub flopped a gutshot straight draw, but improved no further. Bonar won the pot with a set of sevens on the river to more than double up in chips.

John Bonar  –  139,000  (35 bb)
Hany Ayoub  –  140,000  (35 bb)

The next hand, Scott Robbins limped under the gun for 4,000, and Roland Feichtner moved all in from middle position for 20,500. Paul Freedman called from the big blind, and Robbins moved all in over the top for about 70,000.

Freedman folded, and Feichtner turned over Ah2h. Robbins turned over AsQd, and Feichtner was dominated as he faced elimination.

The board came KsQh5sJs3s — Robbins paired his queen on the flop and rivered an ace-high flush to win the pot and eliminate Feichtner in 10th place.

Scott Robbins  –  120,000  (30 bb)
Roland Feichtner  –  Eliminated in 10th Place  ($881)

Neil Blumenfield

The Seniors Event is through four levels and the tournament is taking its first break. They are on the cusp of hitting triple digits entries and it should get there before too long.

Former WSOP November Niner Neil Blumenfield is among the 50+ year old crowd in the corner. Although he’s been playing for years, the rest of the world found out about Blumenfield after he finished third in the 2015 WSOP Main Event behind Josh Beckley (currently in the Ultimate Re-Entry field) and winner Joe McKeehen.
