Tony Utnage raised from the hijack to 80,000, and Dave Castranova moved all in from the cutoff for 215,000. Luis Calvo called from the big blind, and Utnage also called. Any further betting will create a side pot.

The flop came 8c7h3s, Calvo bet 300,000, and Utnage quickly folded.

Castranova turned over AhKd for ace high, and he was drawing dead against Calvo’s 7d7c (set of sevens).

The meaningless turn and river cards were the 9s and the Ac, and Calvo won the pot with his set to eliminate Castranova in 18th place.

Luis Calvo  –  1,900,000  (63 bb)
Dave Castranova  –  Eliminated in 18th Place  ($2,583)

Richard Gress

Just a few moments later, Richard Gress got it all in from the big blind for about 230,000 with 9h9c, but he needed to improve to stay alive against the QhQd of Richard Whitebrook, who was UTG+1.

The board came 7s7d2c10dKh, and the pocket queens held up for Whitebrook to win the pot and eliminate Gress in 17th place.

Richard Whitebrook  –  860,000  (29 bb)
Richard Gress  –  Eliminated in 17th Place  ($2,583)

With 16 players remaining, the average chip stack is about 1,035,000 (35 big blinds), and the next player to be eliminated will receive $2,583.

Final Three Tables
Final Three Tables

After the elimination of Wilmer Diaz Leal in 28th place, the final 27 players redraw for random seats at the final three tables. But before we could post a full seat map, there were several more eliminations.

After a flop of Jd6c3c, Jose Reyes got it all in with 9d6d for a pair of sixes, but he was a big underdog to the 3s3h of Jennifer Miller.

The turn card was the Ks, the river card was the 9s, and Miller won the pot with her set of threes to eliminate Reyes in 26th place.

Jennifer Miller  –  1,475,000  (59 bb)
Jose Reyes  –  Eliminated in 26th Place  ($2,189)

Georges Boyadjian got it all in from the cutoff for about 220,000 with Kh9h, and he needed to improve to stay alive against the 8h8d of Bryce McVay.

The board came Js6c3hJdJh, and the pocket eights held up for McVay to win the pot with a full house and eliminate Boyadjian in 25th place.

Marvin Rettenmaier

It looks like Andrew Hills took a little dip at the break as his stack was down a bit while Michael Tureniec is now up to 960,000.

But Hills moved back up. We did not catch the action but we found Marvin Rettenmaier packing up his belongings. He was all in for ~325,000 against Hills and flopped top pair with AhKs on the AdJs2s board. Hill’s had KdJd and filled his flush on the 3d turn and 9d river to send the tough player out.

Andrew Hills – 1,230,000 (82 bb)
Marvin Rettenmaier – Eliminated in 33rd Place ($1,882)

“Do you have a king?” Hass asked after the call.

He did not have a king.
