In Hand #7 of hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble, Jake Naumann raised from the hijack to 5,500, Stu Paterson moved all in from the cutoff for 13,500, and Naumann called.

They held up until all the other tables finished their action, and there ended up being three all-in-and-call situations, including this one.

Paterson showed , and Naumann turned over . Paterson needed his pocket kings to hold to stay alive.

The board came , and Naumann flopped two pair, jacks and eights, to win the pot and eliminate Paterson to burst the Money Bubble.

The other two tables with all-in-and-call situations resulted in double-ups, so the remaining 59 players are all in the money, guaranteed at least $795 each.

The dinner break is complete and action is back underway in the Six-Max event with 63 remaining and 59 getting paid.

Jonathan Jaffe leads the field with 290,000 and it’s a big lead because he’s the only one over 200K.

They will continue as normal until 60 players remain and that will put them into hand-for-hand mode.

The remaining Six-Max players are enjoying a 40-minute dinner break away from the action and they will return very close to the money bubble. Only 63 players are still in contention and 59 of them will make the money.

Quyen Hoang was one of the late entrants and can be excused for showing up after the start. He played in the massive $150 buy-in tournament last night and went out in seventh place at 4:30 in the morning.

The numbers are in and the Six-Max tournament officially drew 349 entries to create a prize pool worth $184,970. That is a clear push over the $100,000 Guarantee and a lot of money up for grabs.

The last 59 places will be paid with a min-cash taking $795 and the Six-Max champion will earn $35,840 along with the SHRPO trophy.

The Six-Max event is back underway and registration closed with a huge 349-entry field. After taking a look at past turnouts, this is the single biggest Six-Max field in our history regardless of buy-in or format. And this was a single re-entry tournament.

Level 8 came to an end and Six-Max players are taking their second break of the day after building a huge field. This is the last chance to register and it looks like we have a record-setting field for this event.

The Six-Max tournament reached its first break of the day and the field left the Event Center to relax for a bit. They are back in action and we continue to have a steady stream of players getting in (or back in some cases).

SHRP regular Ofer Peleg is leading a tough field and ran his 15,000 starting stack up to 75,000 in only four levels. That’s good enough to sit atop the counts and a fine start to his day.

Peleg earned the biggest cash of his career back in March when he won our $560 Escalator Week 4 event for more than $60,000.

The Six-Max tournament slid right on by the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool in the first three levels and hit 200 entries in the fourth. That virtually locks it up that this will top last year’s turnout out of 231 and a good shot of beating the 338 entries from the Lucky Hearts Poker Open in January (which had unlimited re-entries).

The Six-Max tournament is nearing its $100,000 Guarantee well before they hit the first break of the day. As the clock advances to the afternoon hours, more players are waking and joining.

Brandon Schwartz was here early and already building. He sent Stuart Greenbaum out in the first level when he made kings full against Greenbaum’s trip jacks. Not a bad start.

Kevin Blewitt is back in the Event Center less than 24 hours after picking up a nice little payday. He is a regular at our sister property in Tampa but yesterday in Hollywood is where he earned his biggest single cash when he finished second out of 3,229 entries in the opening event of the series. Blewitt took home $176,335 in a six-way deal, a great result as we get closer to Big 4 weekend.

He is among the 96 early entries today and Event 11 is more than halfway towards its $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
