Registration closed on the H.O.R.S.E. tournament with 88 entries and one of the last of those belong to our all-time trophy winner.

WSOP bracelet winner David Prociak entered the tournament late but he’s always a danger to take down the win. He has more Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Poker major series wins in our history and he stands alone.

Prociak has an incredible seven tournament titles with us; the first coming during the 2016 SHRPO series and the last a few months ago during the Poker Showdown (plus a WSOPC ring in there for good measure). With all those wins, Prociak earned Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year honors in 2016.

Michael Soroka (left), James Gunter (center), and “Miami John” Cernuto (right)

Table 56 in the H.O.R.S.E. tournament is not messing around and it features the top three players from this event in 2018.

James Gunter is occupying the seven-seat at the table and he is the defending champ. He won the 88-entry field in the 2018 SHRPO H.O.R.S.E. tournament for $8,514 in a game that played all the way down. At the final table, he defeated poker legend “Miami John” Cernuto heads-up for the title and Cernuto is sitting in the eight-seat.

On his other side in the six-seat, Michael Soroka was the third-place finisher from that event to complete the trifecta of SHRPO H.O.R.S.E. results from last year sitting next to each other.

But those aren’t the only three tough spots at the table. The five-seat has Joel Harwood trying to punish some kids and David Levi is in the one-seat fresh off his Omaha 8 title last night.

Good luck Table 56.
