Event 8 of the 2019 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a $400 Black Chip Bounty No-Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry) with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000. A field of 256 entries generated a prize pool of $61,440, with another $25,600 set aside for bounties.

Notching the win was Adam Demersseman, collecting $13,910 for his first-place showing. Demersseman began the final table with a sizable chip lead and rode it all the way to end, earning the outright victory.

The packed Monday schedule continues at noon with Event 8 and the $400 Black Chip Bounty tournament, this one always draws a crowd with the bounty-juiced action. The tournament has a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool that includes the $100 bounty on each player’s head.

They will start with 15,000 stacks out front and run through 30-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm but players are limited to a single re-entry option if they bust their stack. Players will take a 40-minute dinner break at 6 pm and return to play it out for the SHRPO trophy.

Action gets underway at noon and we will pick up their coverage later in the day.
