Event 15 of the 2020 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was the $600 Eight-Handed Turbo No-Limit Hold’em (Freeze-Out), which attracted 44 players and created a prizepool worth $23,320.
Jonathan Bussieres came into the nine-handed final table second in chips behind 2015 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open champion Brian Altman, but Altman only made it as far as third place. Bussieres then defeated Justin Harvell heads-up for the trophy, the title, and the prize money.
In the final hand of the tournament, Justin Harvell got it all in with against the of Jonathan Bussieres. The board came , and Bussieres paired his four on the flop to knock out Harvell and win the tournament.
The fourth of four new tournaments on the schedule is set to kick off at the top of the hour and it will move along at a nice clip. Event 15 is a $600 buy-in tournament with a turbo structure and freeze-out format.
They will start with 15,000 stacks and levels will run 15 minutes all night long. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 8:15 pm and players are limited to a single entry into the tournament.
Those two things combined mean this one will fly down to a champion.
