Meanwhile, defending WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Champion Darryll Fish was sent to the rail.

“I waited all day for kings,” Fish joked. “I got them and lost with them.”

WPTDS: Nissim Vaknin and Jaspal Brar Eliminated on the Bubble; Louise Francouer Doubles

$1,100 WPTDeepStacks Hollywood
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 18:  3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 ante
Players Remaining:  175 of 1,404

Nissim Vaknin (left) and Stanley Lee (right)

It took a little while to get to the money bubble but not very long to get through it. On the very first hand on the bubble, there were three all-ins called and tournament staff ran them out one at a time.

On Table 37, Nissim Vaknin was down to 27,000 and moved all in from the hijack. Stanley Lee called in the cutoff and the button and blinds folded.

Lee: AdKh
Vaknin: AhJd

Vaknin was in trouble and it only got worse on the Kc9d7h flop. The board finished Th turn and Kd river to send him out.

Jaspal Brar

On Table 7 with the flop reading 6s6d4d, Jaspal Brar moved all in for 50,000 and Leo Ojeda called to put him at risk.

Ojeda: Qd9d
Brar: As4d

Brar was ahead with his paired four but needed to dodge Ojeda’s overs and diamond draw. The 3s turn changed nothing but Ojeda made a bigger pair on the Qh river to send Brar out as well.

John Gorsuch (left) and Louise Francoeur (right)

On Table 20, John Gorsuch opened the action, Louise Francouer three-bet shipped for 91,000 and Gorsuch called.

Francouer: QdQc
Gorsuch: QsJs

Francouer was in great shape to double on the bubble and she had no problems on the Ks9d2dJcAs board.

With Brar and Vaknin both eliminated on the same hand at separate tables, they split 176th place money.

Louise Francoeur – 197,000 (33 bb)
Stanley Lee – 175,000 (29 bb)
Leo Ojeda – 438,000 (73 bb)
John Gorsuch – 200,000 (33 bb)
Jaspal Brar – Eliminated in 176th Place ($748)
Nissim Vaknin – Eliminated in 177th Place ($747)

David Farber

The money bubble is nearing with a steady stream of players falling short. David Farber is not in that category.

He began the day with 392,000 for one of the big stacks but now he’s the biggest with a seven-digit stack. Farber is up to 1,070,000 after an hour of play and sitting in great shape for a deep run.

David Farber – 1,070,000 (214 bb)

WPTDS: Riley Fuller Doubles Through Scott Swatscheno

Riley Fuller

Scott Swatscheno opened to 9,000 from under the gun and Riley Fuller moved all in for 47,000 from middle position. The rest of the players folded and Swatscheno called.

Fuller: 8s8h
Swatscheno: AhQs

It was another race and Swatscheno took the lead when he paired his queen on the KsQc2d flop. It was short-lived because Fuller made a set on the 8d turn. The board finished with the 3d river and Swatscheno sent some of his newly stacked chips sent next door.

Riley Fuller – 104,000 (21 bb)
Scott Swatscheno – 90,000 (18 bb)
