It took a little while to get to the money bubble but not very long to get through it. On the very first hand on the bubble, there were three all-ins called and tournament staff ran them out one at a time.
On Table 37, Nissim Vaknin was down to 27,000 and moved all in from the hijack. Stanley Lee called in the cutoff and the button and blinds folded.
Vaknin was in trouble and it only got worse on the flop. The board finished turn and river to send him out.
On Table 7 with the flop reading , Jaspal Brar moved all in for 50,000 and Leo Ojeda called to put him at risk.
Brar was ahead with his paired four but needed to dodge Ojeda’s overs and diamond draw. The turn changed nothing but Ojeda made a bigger pair on the river to send Brar out as well.
On Table 20, John Gorsuch opened the action, Louise Francouer three-bet shipped for 91,000 and Gorsuch called.
Francouer was in great shape to double on the bubble and she had no problems on the board.
With Brar and Vaknin both eliminated on the same hand at separate tables, they split 176th place money.
Louise Francoeur – 197,000 (33 bb)
Stanley Lee – 175,000 (29 bb)
