On the last hand before the next break, it was three-ways to a 7s6d3s flop and Steve Karp bet 150,000. Cosmin Jolpis called and Richard Zipes raised to 475,000. Karp moved all in for 3,300,000 and Jolpis folded. Zipes took several minutes to think it through.

The two of them were talking back and forth as the break clock moved along. Karp agreed to show his hand if Zipes folds and shows.

“I don’t know how I can fold this hand,” Zipes said.

Richard Zipes and Steve Karp played a couple of big hands shortly after returning from dinner.

On the first, Karp opened to 175,000 from the cutoff and picked up called from Cosmin Joldis on the button and Zipes in the small blind. All three checked it down until the board read 4d3c2s5h3h and Zipes bet 375,000. Karp called and Joldis folded.

Zipes tabled 9s3s for trip threes but Karp showed AdJs for the turned wheel.

Richard Zipes opened the action to 200,000 from the small blind and Rafiki Brown called in the big to see the QsTs7h flop. Zipes immediately moved all in and Brown stopped to think it through.

After several minutes and questions of Zipes, Brown called at risk for ~2,300,000.
