Event 14 of the 2021 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was a $600 Deep Stack Turbo, but even deep stacks can’t overcome a turbo structure with 15-minute levels. This is a tournament for people who want to start in the evening (6:00 pm), and finish the tournament that same evening.

Even with 167 entries, it only took about six-and-a-half hours to reach the end of the tournament, when the final three players agreed to an ICM deal based on their chip counts.

1.  Alex Ortiz Vazquez  –  2,395,000
2.  Yordan Petrov  –  570,000
3.  Mathew Karp  –  380,000

As the overwhelming chipleader, Vazquez was declared the winner and awarded the trophy.

Final Three Tables in Event 14
The Final Three Tables of Event 14 Are in the Money

The Deep Stack Turbo event was the last of the day to reach the money, and they just recently burst the Money Bubble — the final 21 finish in the money.

However, with 17 players currently remaining and a turbo structure with 15-minute levels, this might be the next event to reach its final table, though our coverage will remain focused on Event #11 ($400 Omaha 8/Stud 8).

Level 1: 100/100

Filling out the Tuesday schedule at 6 pm, we have a fast-paced tournament this evening that should be a ton of fun. Event 14 has a $600 buy-in with deep stacks and a turbo structure.

They’ll start with 20,000 out front and run with 15-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9 at 8:15 pm but the freeze-out format means they have only a single bullet to fire at the title.

  • Late registration/single re-entry until start of Level 9 (8:15pm)
