Registration closed for the Seniors Event and they came in with 221 entries. A wonderful turnout and good enough for the second biggest Seniors Event field in our history behind only the 226 during the WSOP Circuit series.

The Seniors Event players returned from their first break and they are making some history. With 202 entries so far, the field is already the second biggest in our history with only 25 more needed to make it to the top. It seems like a near-lock with registration open for two more hours.

Howard Mash is back in the Seminole Ballroom looking for another Seniors title. Of course his first was a little bigger than this. Mash won the 2019 WSOP Seniors Event bracelet in Las Vegas in a field with 5,917 entrants.

A new week is underway and that brings a busy today in the Seminole Ballroom with four new tournaments along with two restarts. The first tournament is a special one for us.

Event 7 is the $400 Seniors Event and available for any player 50 years and older. They’ll start at 10 am with 12,000 stacks and play 30 minutes levels during the one-day tournament. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm with a single re-entry available if they bust before that time.

They will take a 40-minute dinner break at 4 pm and return to play it down to the Seniors Champion.
