Dayan was live but needed to catch. She missed the flop, Thiesen paired his nine but she picked up a gutshot draw/backdoor flush draw. The straight got there on the turn and she doubled after the . But it was immediately apparent to Dayan who started to get up.
Then she saw the turn made her straight and she stacked up her new pile.

Ha Nguyen was all in from the cutoff for about 50,000 with , and he needed to improve to stay alive against the of Giuseppe Iadisernia in the big blind.
The board came — Nguyen turned a gutshot straight draw, but improved no further. Iadisernia won the pot with his ace to eliminate Nguyen in 24th place.

Event 9 drew 189 entries for the $1,100 two-day tournament and it nearly doubled its $100,000 guarantee. It played down to the money on Sunday evening and 24 players return for Day 2 to play down to a winner.
Erik Nomberg leads the field for the return with Jesse Lott, William Firebaugh, Lewe Theisen, and Stephen Brite rounding out the top five.
They are each guaranteed at least $1,825 but they all want the $46,020 awaiting the winner.

Event 9 was scheduled to play until the end of Level 15, but as they were only a few spots away from the money, they played until the bubble burst, which only took eight minutes into the next level.
The final 24 players are in the money, and they have bagged up their chips for Day 2, which begins tomorrow (Monday) at 2:00 pm with 22 minutes remaining in Level 16.

Another new RRPO tournament gets underway at the top of the hour and we’re boosting up the buy-in for some nice action. Event 9 is a $1,100 buy-in Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em tournament with a $100,000 guarantee and two-day structure.
They’ll start with 20,000 deep stacks and the first 12 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes from Level 13 until they reach the final table. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 8:55 pm following the 40-minute dinner break.
Day 1 will come to an end after Level 15 and survivors will return tomorrow for Day 2 at 2 pm.
