Event 14 of the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $600 Deep Stack Turbo NLH (Freeze-Out). A field of 228 players generated a prize pool of $119,700.

The speedy tournament wrapped up in about eight hours when a deal between the final five players was reached. Dorian Rios, who began the final table as the chip leader, was still on top at the time of the deal and was the official winner of Event 14 for $17,984.

The Venezuelan professional is well accomplished on the poker felt, with more than $1.35 million in career tournament earnings according to the Hendon Mob database, including a second-place finish at the 2016 World Series of Poker in the $1,500 Monster Stack for nearly $700,000.

His win today marked his fifth cash at the Seminole Hard Rock.

The last tournament on today’s schedule kicks off at 7 pm in the Seminole Ballroom and it will move along quickly. Event 14 is a $600 Deep Stack Turbo No Limit Hold’em with a freeze-out format.

They’ll start with 20,000 deep stacks and run 15-minute levels throughout. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 9:15 pm but no re-entries if someone busts their stack. They’ll continue the fast pace down to the final table and our last Showdown champ of the day.
