The Event 17 field is speeding along a little faster than expected and down to less than 200 as they begin to think about their dinner break at the end of Level 12.

Randall Emmett is back with us and trying to spin up a stack. The film and TV producer had two big scores back in October 2019 when he won two Aria High Rollers within three days for more than $100K each.

We are 24 hours away from kicking off the 2021 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship and Event 17 is the last chance to warm up for the big game.

We have a lot of old friends and new ones coming to town for the Championship and expect to see a lot of them in today’s $2,200 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em tournament. It has a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool that should be bested early if the previous 16 tournaments are any indication.

Players will sit down to 20,000 deep stacks and play 30-minute levels. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm with unlimited re-entries available the entire time. A dinner break is scheduled at 6:30 pm with a big night of poker after they return.

Cards go in the air at noon and we will be here all day long with them.
