2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 28 Champion Shannon Shorr

Event 28 of the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $5,000 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry). A field of 287 entries more than doubled the previous high in this event and along with that, the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool was obviously smashed to the tune of $1,363,250, also a record high for this event.

The tournament lasted nearly 17 hours and in the end, it was Shannon Shorr who emerged victoriously, winning outright for $296,535.

For Shorr, it marked his 18th cash in a Seminole major and his first trophy. The Alabama native now has more than $8.4 million in career live tournament earnings according to the Hendon Mob database.
