2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 6 Champion Ryan Hogan

Event 6 of the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $1,100 Deep Stack NLH (Single Re-Entry). A field of 446  entries generated a prize pool of $432,620, more than quintupling the guarantee.

Despite beginning the second day of action 35th in chips of the remaining 59 players, Ryan Hogan navigated his way through the field en route to the victory.  A heads-up chop was made between Hogan and Event 4 champion Greg Fishberg and as the chip leader, Hogan was officially the winner of Event 6.

For Hogan, this marked his first cash here at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, but just a few months ago Hogan won an event at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa in the 2020 Winter Poker Open.

After playing heads up for a few minutes, Ryan Hogan and Greg Fishberg agreed to an even chop.

Here were their chip counts at the time:

As the chip leader, Ryan Hogan is officially the winner of Event 6 of the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.

Kevin Garosshen raised from under the gun and Ryan Hogan called from the big blind.

The flop was 6d2d8h and a flurry of action led to Hogan all in and at risk for 1,475,000 with 10d7d for multiple draws.

Garosshen had the lead with 9c9h, but the 8d gave Hogan a flush.
