The Seniors Event wasted no time setting a new record for the tournament. The old number was 226 which was set during the 2017 WSOP Circuit series and each new entry today runs it up.

That means we have plenty of friends back in the building including Ken “Teach” Aldridge, Francis Margaglione, WSOP Ladies Champion Jacquelyn Scott, and three-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Nancy Birnbaum.

The Seniors are wasting no time putting up big numbers this morning and they’ve turned out in numbers today like we haven’t seen before.

The 221 entries in the field at the start already matched the count through all of registration in January and they are only six away from creating the biggest Seniors Event field in our history.

The weekend is complete but there’s no letting up at the start of a new week. The schedule is packed and we get rolling on Monday with the popular $400 Seniors 50+ Event. Tournament entry is restricted to those 50 years and older and we’ll have a fun group of players this morning when it kicks off at 10 am.

Our Seniors will start with 12,000 out front and play 30-minute levels. Late registration and a single re-entry are available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm. They’ll have a dinner break at 4:30 pm and return to play down to our Seniors Event champ.
