Greg Fishberg

The Flight A field is filling in nicely with 365 entries before noon on a Thursday. They will play out the next two levels before enjoying a 15-minute break from the action.

We found more friendly faces in the crowd including Greg Fishberg, George Dolofan, Ory Hen, Nigel Murray, Eric and Caleb Piderit, and Jennifer David.

Fishberg came close to making some history here in April, falling just short of the rare feat of back-to-back titles. He won the $400 Pot Limit Omaha title during the opening weekend of the Poker Showdown and came in second to Ryan Hogan in the $1,100 No Limit Hold’em tournament the next day.

Flight A of the opening SHRPO tournament is going big right out of the gates with nearly 300 entries rolling into Level 2. That’s $100,000 towards the $500,000 guarantee with a lot of time to go.

We found some familiar faces in the early levels including Sean Shah, Mark Cannon, and Nancy Thomas. Thomas has success in this tournament, banking more than $100K for a runner-up finish in the 2017 LHPO opener.
