Action came to an end for Flight A with 44 players advancing to Day 2 on Sunday at noon. Registration will remain open until then so our numbers will continue to increase.

Aristoteles Neto was among the leaders all day and bagged the biggest stack. He will return with 585,000 in his bag for the lead so far with two more flights to go. Courtland Twyman was the second biggest with 555,000 to put the two of them far ahead of the rest.

We will post the full chip count list as soon as it is available.

Top Flight A stacks:

Aristoloes Neto – 585,000
Courtland Twyman – 555,000
Stuart Greenbaum – 381,000

Fred White

The last level of the night is here and the field continues to shrink at a slow pace. There are still 54 players in the mix and every one of them is trying to find a bag at the end of the night.

Fred White is the latest to make a late run and the Coco Poker regular is up to 285,000 heading into the twilight of Flight A. An interesting bit on his Hendon Mob entry; in 1987, White earned a cool $100,000 at the old Riviera Casino in Las Vegas for winning a game called California Lowball.

Blinds are up and the field is down to seven tables with the end of the Flight in sight. With the slow structure, there are still plenty of players in contention with nearly a quarter of the starters still in play. They’ve put more than $90,000 in the prize pool and the guarantee will easily be reached tomorrow morning.

A few more regulars include Zachary Eichenbaum, Pedro Palacio, Scott Zakhem, and Phil Hui.
