Event 31 of the 2022 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was the $5,000 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). The tournament drew 182 entries, the second-largest ever for the perennial big buy-in Hold’em closing event of the Seminole Hard Rock series’. The $200,000 guarantee was decimated, getting more than quadrupled to the tune of $864,500.
The final table was, predictably, a decorated one. Emerging victorious was Taylor Von Kriegenbergh, winning outright for $220,495.
This marked Von Kriegenbergh’s second SHRP major series trophy. The first was the initial WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, which Von Kriegenbergh won in 2011 for $1,122,340.
Von Kriegenbergh’s win tonight bumps his career live tournament winnings to just shy of the $2,500,000 mark, according to the Hendon Mob poker database.
