The $600 Pot Limit Omaha 8 tournament was a nice alternative to the big Event 1 field this afternoon for those who already bagged or those who like PLO more.

They have 110 entries so far with less than an hour remaining in registration. Among those playing the Meeting Room, we found Matt Bretzfield and Yuval Bronshtein.

Bretzfield captured his fourth major Hollywood title the other day and his third straight series with a win. We found two other players in our history with wins in three straight series; David Prociak in 2016/2017 and Gabe Ramos in 2019.

Yuval Bronshtein is tied for the second most Hollywood major wins with seven in less than two years of action in South Florida.

The Grand Ballroom is going to be packed all day long but that isn’t the only game today. We also have a $600 Pot Limit Omaha 8 tournament set to go at 11 am across the hall in the Meeting Room. A nice game for those looking for Saturday action but already bagged up in Event 1.

Players sit down to 15K starting stacks and all levels will last 30 minutes for this one-day tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. They will have a 40-minute dinner break at 5 pm and return to find out only trophy winner of the day.
