Event 12 of the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open was a $400 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 515 entries generated a prize pool of $172,525, more than tripling the guarantee. A heads-up chop was made at the final table, and as the chip leader, it was Scott Baumstein who was the official victor for $27,965.

The win marks Baumstein’s sixth SHRP major series trophy, putting him in a tie with Michael Newman for all-time SHRP major series trophies won, trailing only Raminder Singh (9), Brian Altman (7), Yuval Bronshtein (7), Gabe Ramos (7), and David Prociak (7).

It will be a busy Sunday in the Grand Ballroom with most of the early space taken up by the Event 1 restart but we have plenty of action for those who didn’t make it. Event 12 kicks things off at 1 pm with a $400 Deep Stack NLH that sports a $50,000 guarantee and one-day structure.

Players start with 20K stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 5:30 pm. They have a 40-minute dinner break scheduled at 7:30 pm and return to play down to our next RRPO champ.
