Event 37 of the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was the $250 Ladies Event (Re-Entry). A field of 91 entries set the mark for the largest Ladies Event in SHRP history, besting the 76 entries in the 2019 Lucky Hearts Poker Open.
The prize pool was set at $19,110, nearly doubling the $10,000 guarantee.
A three-handed deal took place at the final table and as the chip leader, it was Lisa Levy who was the official champion, winning $4,015 and a $1,100 Seat into Event 46.
“I had a great time. It was such a fun event,” said Levy afterward. “All of my tables were very friendly. It was very chatty, much more than mixed events.”
Levy had previously final tabled the Ladies Event at the 2017 Showdown, finishing fifth for $775. She also has two other final tables during the SHRP major series under her belt.
“I’m a local. I live in Delray Beach, so I play here all the time. I enjoy it a lot.”
