Once the Money Bubble burst for Flight E, the remaining 109 players bagged up their chips for Day 2, which begins Sunday at 1:00 pm. Everyone who bagged chips will finish in the money, though those payouts won’t be known until registration has closed for all eight starting flights.

Action ended with 18:37 remaining in Level 18, with blinds at 4,000-8,000 with an 8,000 ante. But the blinds at the start of Day 2 will roll back to wherever they were for the flight that finished earliest. Right now that’s Flight C, which finished with 2:20 remaining in Level 16, with blinds at 3,000-5,000 with a 5,000 ante.

The full list of official chip counts for this flight will be posted soon, but here is a preview of the six players who bagged at least 400K, with big blinds calculated at the 3,000-5,000 level:

Chad Lipton Knocks Out a Player on the Money Bubble
The unfortunate bubble finisher (left) receives a fist-bump of condolences from Flight E chipleader Chad Lipton (right).

Chad Lipton raised to 18,000 from under the gun and the player in the big blind called.

The flop was 8c7h3h and the big blind check-called 18,000 from Lipton.

The turn was the 8d, the big blind led for 43,000, and Lipton called.

The river was the 6s, the big blind shoved for 209,000, and Lipton called with 9h8h for trip eights, besting his opponent’s 6h4h to send the remaining 109 players into the money.

In addition, with that pot, Lipton became the Flight E chipleader.
