When planning out the day, tournament staff put the Seniors Event in the Meeting Room across the hall. Their own private room for the special game but they quickly outgrew the space. Every table is in action and they expanded back into the Grand Ballroom.

With 179 entries before the first break, we will need to crack open the record books later to see where this ends up being on the all-time list for Seniors Events.

We have two Seniors Events on the LHPO schedule and the first gets underway at the top of the hour. The $400 buy-in tournament is open to anyone 50 years and older and it will be a fun one.

Players start with 20,000 deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. They will take a 45-minute dinner break at 5:30 pm and return to play down to our first Seniors Champ of the series.
