2023 Lucky Hearts Poker Open Event 40 Champion David Bach

Event 40 of the 2023 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was a $400 Omaha 8/Stud 8 (Re-Entry). A field of 75 entries produced a prize pool of $25,125, and collecting the lion’s share of that was David Bach, winning outright for $8,460.

This marked the three-time WSOP-Bracelet winner’s first cash at the Seminole Hard Rock. One of the premier mixed-game players in the poker world, Bach now has more than $4.32 million in career live tournament winning per the Hendon Mob poker database.

The last day of the LHPO series and we’re rolling out a unique one at 11 am; one that has become popular with our non-hold’em folks. Event 40 is a $400 buy-in tournament that will rotate games between Limit Omaha 8 and Stud 8. It will be small but it will be special.

They’ll sit down to 12,000 in their starting stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. The 45-minute dinner break is scheduled at 5 pm and they’ll return to compete to become our OE champ.
