2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 17 Champion Zack Milchman

Event 17 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $400 Triple Stud (Re-Entry). This marked the first running of a Triple Stud tournament at the Seminole Hard Rock, and a solid showing of 90 entries created a prize pool of $30,150.

A three-way deal was reached at the final table and Zack Milchman was the chip leader, making him the official winner for $7,968.

This marked Milchman’s third SHRP major series trophy. His first came in a $360 Mixed PLO at the 2018 RRPO for $5,032, and his second in a $400 Omaha 8/Stud 8 at the 2020 LHPO for $5,103.

Registration closed for our first-ever Triple Stud event and the tournament drew 90 entries for a fantastic turnout. They created a prize pool worth $30,150 and the last 12 players will earn some money. A min-cash is worth $870 and the Event 17 champ will take home $9,410 plus the Showdown trophy.

We have a long history of poker and it’s rare that we find something new on the schedule. But it’s happening today. For the first time ever, we are running a Triple Stud trophy event during a major series.

We expect the non-hold’em people to come out and enjoy the game this afternoon.

Kicking off at noon, players sit down to 12,000 in their stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm. A 45-minute dinner break is scheduled at 6 pm and the we find our first-ever Triple Stud champ.
