Event 3 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $600 Deep Stack Big O (Re-Entry). The first mixed event of the series drew 105 entries, creating a prize pool of $55,125. A six-way deal was reached at the final table and Long Nguyen was the chip leader, making him the official winner for $9,128.

This marked Nguyen’s fourth SHRP major series trophy win:

The board read with about 130,000 in the pot. A short-stacked Edge Bullock was already all in from under the gun, with side action remaining between Jean Laurent in the small blind and Matthew Kaplan in the big blind. Both checked the turn.

The Big O tournament is grinding peacefully in their own room across from the Grand Ballroom and they quickly put nearly 80 entries in the game after the first break. The game has a lot to offer those looking for action.

The 2023 Poker Showdown to stacked full with Omaha tournaments and we come out of the gates with a fun one at 2 pm. Event 3 is a $600 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Big O tournament, five cards with split pots.

Players sit down to 20K deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 6:30 pm. They’ll play down into the evening and end when we have our first Showdown Omaha champ.
