Super High Roller Champion David Peters and His Girlfriend, Hayley Hanna

Event 42 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was the $50,000 Super High Roller (Single Re-Entry). There were 18 entries, producing a prize pool of $873,000.

A heads-up deal was reached between David Peters and Alex Foxen, and as the chip leader, Peters was the official Super High Roller champion for $328,527.

This marked Peters’ fourth SHRP major series trophy. The first came at the 2017 RRPO in a $5K NLH for $104,309. He followed that up with winning the very same event at the 2018 RRPO for $143,159. His third was during the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker 2022 SHRPO when he won the $50K Super High Roller for $407,545, also in a heads-up deal. Tonight, he won the very next $50K buy-in event on the Seminole schedule.

The accomplished pro now has more than $42.5 million in career live tournament winnings per the Hendon Mob poker database.
