Ryan Riess raised to 500 preflop from the button, and Dylan Linde reraised to 3,000 from the big blind. Riess called after some thought before the flop fell .

Linde bet 2,100, and Riess tanked before calling. The turn was dealt , Linde bet 3,500, and Riess tanked again before calling.

The river delivered the , and this time it was Riess who fired out 30,000. Linde tanked for a minute or two before folding his cards. Riess stacked up 52,100 after collecting the pot, and Linde was at 23,200 after the hand.

At 11 am on the dot, tournament staff put cards in the air for Day 1A of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship. There are 135 players in seats at the start, with many more expected over the two starting flights.

After nine full days of trophy events, the headliner is ready to go in the Grand Ballroom with Flight A of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship at 11 am. The $5,300 buy-in tournament features a huge $3,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and two starting days.

Players start with 40,000 in their stacks and all levels last 60 minutes, increasing to 90 minutes when 27 players remain. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 9:15 pm and players may re-enter a single time per day if needed.

Day 1 will play through ten levels and survivors will return on Sunday at noon for Day 2.

It will be an exciting few days as the Championship kicks off the Big 4 weekend.
