Event 40 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a $1,100 Limit Omaha 8 (Re-Entry). There were 38 entries who took part, creating a prize pool of $36,860. Taking it down was Eugene Kotlyarevskiy, winning outright for $15,110.

This marked Kotlyarevskiy’s fourth SHRP major series trophy win. The first came in a $1,100 Six-Max PLO8 event during the 2022 LHPO for $26,000, his second came at the 2022 Showdown in a $1,700 Purple Chip Bounty NLH $54,155, and his third was during the 2023 Showdown, again in the $1,100 Six-Max PLO8 for $25,580.

Time is running out if you want to take home a SHRPO trophy in the Omaha category and today, you have another chance with Event 40. It is a $1,100 buy-in Limit Omaha 8 tournament with a two-day structure.

Players start with 20K deep stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available until 5:30 pm. The 60-minute dinner break is scheduled for 7:30 pm and Day 1 will end when nine players remain.

The final table will play on Sunday at 1 pm where we’ll find out next champ.
