David Shmuel

The Limit Omaha 8 tournament is off to a great start with than 50 shortly after cards went in the air and more in line to get in the game.

We found David Shmuel among the early crowd, coming off yet another SHRP major title. After falling out of the Seniors Event early yesterday, he entered the $600 Big O and took the title. It was his eighth career major victory here putting him in a three-way tie for most all time.

Raminder Singh – 10 wins
Michael Newman – 9 wins
John Holley – 8 wins
Yuval Bronshtein – 8 wins
David Shmuel – 8 wins

Shmuel is tied with Yuval Bronshtein on the list and both are in the game looking for another. Bronshtein had a great summer in Vegas with 21 cashes during the World Series of Poker including five top-ten finishes.
