Registration closed for the Eight-Game Mix event with 100 entries, which is a new record for Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, beating the previous mark of 90 entries that was set during the 2023 Showdown back in April.

The total prizepool is worth $52,500, and the final 13 players will finish in the money, with a min-cash worth $1,045. The top prize is $15,675, along with a coveted SHRPO trophy.

We have a great turnout for the Eight-Game Mix, a game with a small but impressive part in our history. This is only the fifth time we’ve run this tournament and the Showdown event was the first time in nearly a decade.

But when we did run them, we have some big-time WSOP champs take the crown. Jason Mercier won the first title, Corey Zeidman won the third, and reigning WSOP Main Event champ Daniel Weinman was the winner in between.

Not too shabby.

Early entrants in this run include Charles Mayes, Donny Rubinstein, and recent mix game convert Willie Wiggins,

Keeping things interesting this morning with an eight-game mix event starting at 11 am. The $600 buy-in tournament will rotate between Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha 8, Razz, Stud, Stud 8, Pot-Limit Omaha, No-Limit Hold’em, and 2-7 Triple Draw.

The champ must show talent in multiple games to take home the trophy.

They start with 15,000 in their stacks and all level last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. The field will take a 45-minute dinner break at 5:30 pm and return to the Meeting Room to play down to the final table and eventual winner.
