The fantastic early turnout for Flight B continued after the first break, with 160 here so far. The prize pool topped $125,000, and there is a long way to go. They have all day to register, with bags coming out around 9:40 p.m. There is a full flight tomorrow (which will be huge, so get here early), and registration will be open until the start of Day 2 on Sunday at 11 a.m.

A few more friends in the crowd include Fred Dabus, Nancy Thomas, Omar Sader, Jeff Charlton, Willie Wiggins, Richard Leger, Tuan Nguyen, Roberto Bendeck, and Thomas Gari.

We thought Flight B would push the prize pool over the $100,000 guarantee in the early afternoon, we were incorrect. The prize pool topped that mark before the clock hit noon and we’ve added a bit more since.

Players will cruise through Level 3 before taking their first break and we are looking at another big day.

No sooner did we hit ‘publish’ on the previous post and our co-leader grabbed his seat. Nathan Thrush was the other player with 381,500 at the break and he’s coming off a nice score six months ago, banking nearly $50,000 for the RRPO $600 Deep Stack title.

The last break ended, players returned to their seats, and they are set to play three more levels before the bags come up.

Steve Wiggers was among the leaders at the dinner break and sits atop the counts with 381,500. He’s in a tie with one other player; the chips were triple-checked, but that player is taking their time coming back from break.

Art Peacock is still in the mix with 313,500 and several others closing on 300K.
