This is a one-day tournament and might produce our first champ of the series (it will be a race between this and the H.O.R.S.E.)

Players returned to their seats after the first break and we have a new big stack in the room. Roni Zelichonok jumped to the top early in the day but Steven Glazerman cruised right past him.
Glazerman leads the field after four levels with 95,400 and Zelichonok is still doing just fine with 49,600.

Event 2 on the LHPO schedule is the first non-hold’em game on the schedule and the first mix game. It is a $400 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. tournament and will likely award our first trophy later this evening.
Players start with 25,000 in their stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. They have a 45-minute dinner break schedule at 5 pm and return to play down to our champ.

The new year is here, so it’s time to kick off the popular Lucky Hearts Poker Open series with 52 trophies events and millions of dollars in prize money. We get things running with Flight A of LHPO Event 1 at 10 am in the Grand Ballroom and the $600 Deep Stack NLH tournament features a $1,000,000 guarantee.
Players start with 20,000 stacks out front and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 on Day 2 and 60 minutes when the field is down to 24 players. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm.
Flight A will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and they will advance to Day 2 on Sunday at 1 pm in the money.
